Cardiff City full 2015/16 Championship fixtures

Cardiff are preparing for the 2015/16 Championship season.

Cardiff are looking to enjoy a better season in the coming campaign, having only managed an 11th placed finish in 2014/15. Ole Gunna Solskjaer left his role as manager in September, and following a period of caretaker management, Russell Slade left Leyton Orient to move to Wales.

He stabilised the club, ensuring they finished mid-table, and he will be looking to move them forwards next season, with a view to getting back into the Premier League.

The new season promises to be an exciting one, and with the Championship season just over a month away, we take a look at the Bluebirds' full 2015/16 fixtures.

Cardiff start their season with a home tie to Fulham on August 8, looking to get the campaign off to a positive start.

The Christmas period could be tricky for Slade’s men, with a tough run of fixtures against the likes of Nottingham Forest, Hull and Wolves, which could see them struggle to retain a promotion push, especially with a host of their opponents likely to be fighting at the top end of the table as well.

As the season draws to a close, the Welsh outfit take on Bolton and Sheffield Wednesday, before finishing their season by hosting Birmingham City on May 7th.
