Report: Lazio and Fiorentina interested in John Guidetti

Celtic U-20s

Lazio, Fiorentina, Everton, Norwich City and Watford are all reportedly interested in Manchester City-owned departing Celtic loanee John Guidetti.

Lazio are interested in signing John Guidetti this summer, according to Tuttomercatoweb.com.

It has been reported by the Italian news outlet that Lazio’s Serie A rivals Fiorentina are also interested in the Sweden international.

Rome-based Lazio finished third in Serie A in the recently concluded 2014-15 season and stand a chance of playing in the Champions League next season.

Two other Italian clubs - Udinese and Hellas Verona - are also monitoring the 23-year-old striker, according to the report.

Guidetti is on the books of Manchester City at the moment, but he will leave the Premier League giants at the end of the month when his current contract runs out.

The former IF Brommapojkarna striker spent the 2014-15 season on loan at Scottish giants Celtic.

With the Glasgow outfit, Guidetti won the Scottish Premiership title and the Scottish League Cup.

TalkSPORT reported earlier this month that Premier League trio Everton, Watford and Norwich City are all interested in signing Guidetti on a free transfer this summer.
