HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club that former West Ham United youngster Blair Turgott has agreed a deal to join Leyton Orient.
Turgott is a free agent after leaving League One side Coventry City earlier this summer.
The 21-year-old only joined Coventry on a short-term deal during last January's transfer window after securing his release from West Ham.
Turgott came through the youth ranks at Upton Park, but made just one senior appearance for the club while spending time out on loan at Bradford City, Colchester United, Rotherham United and Dagenham prior to his move to Coventry.
Turgott, who has represented England from Under 16 to Under 19 level, found his first-team opportunities limited at Coventry, making just three appearances for the Sky Blues.
Orient have now made a move for the attacker as new Os boss Ian Hendon knows all about Turgott having worked with him during his time as part of West Ham's coaching team under Sam Allardyce.
