Former Arsenal trialist Alharbi El Jadeyaoui has signed a two-year deal with Qarabag FK, as confirmed by the club's official website.
El Jadeyaoui had been playing in France for Lens, who signed him from Angers in 2014.
Arsenal went on to splash £42 million on Mesut Ozil instead a month later, rather than paying a pittance for the Ligue 2 midfielder.
El Jadeyaoui featured in Ligue 1 for Lens last season, scoring three times in 28 games, and is a Moroccan international.
Qarabag FK are based in Azerbaijan capital Baku, and are the reigning champions of the country, and last season defeated Dutch side FC Twente in the Europa League.
A move to Arsenal was always overly ambitious for El Jadeyaoui, but with his latest career move he will get the chance to play in the Champions League, and if they get through the qualifying rounds, could even be facing up against the Gunners next season.
