A round up of news stories this morning related to Arsenal.
The Gunners are mentioned as one of the sides likely to do a deal for the experienced shot stopper, who could move on this summer.
However, they will be gambling on Jose Mourinho dropping his usual reluctance in making one of his club’s rivals stronger.
Christophe Lollichon, coach of Cech, has been quoted by the Daily Telegraph, suggesting that a move could very well happen.
He’s revealed that it’s the primary objective of the player to stay in the Premier League because his family are settled with life in England.
“The Premier League is his primary objective. But it will also depends on the conditions,” he said.
The Daily Mirror has also weighed in on the situation, claiming that French giants Paris Saint-Germain will try and persuade him to move to France.
The paper suggests that they are preparing an offer, which is thought to be in the region of £150,000 per week to the player.
They are reportedly prepared to push the boat out, recognising Cech’s experience and an apparent reluctance to leave England.
