Tommy Lyman has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at signing his first professional contract with Leeds United.
The youngster put pen to paper on a deal on Monday, and he took to Twitter to revel in his achievement.
Leeds are well known for developing young players, and it seems that Lyman is the latest of young hopefuls to be given a chance to succeed at Elland Road.
The likes of Sam Byram, Lewis Cook, Alex Mowatt and Charlie Taylor are just a handful of players to have come through the famous Leeds academy in recent years.
All four of them are now first-team players, and in the coming years Lyman will be looking to play for the senior side as well.
It will not be easy, though, as the youngster will first have to show that he has the quality and attitude to play in the first team.
Breaking into the first team next season will also be tough due to the appointment of Uwe Rosler, who is likely to field the best players in order to finish in the top six of the Championship.
