Photo: Tottenham Hotspur star Nabil Bentaleb shows commitment by wearing kit on holiday

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nabil Bentaleb was pictured in the club's new kit as he headed off on his holidays.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nabil Bentaleb's future has been the subject of much discussion lately, but the club appears close to his heart.

The Algerian international posted a photo on his Twitter page yesterday as he headed off on holiday, wearing Tottenham's new kit for 2015/16.

Bentaleb was reported by The Mirror at the weekend to be close to penning a new contract, to take him up until 2020 at the club.

The 20-year-old has become a real favourite of head coach Mauricio Pochettino, while the London Evening Standard reported earlier this month Premier League rivals Liverpool were also interested in his signature.

One reason put forward by fans on Twitter regarding Bentaleb was that he was wearing the shirt because he had come straight from an official, and as yet unannounced, contract signing - but at that point it remains just speculation.

In either case, Bentaleb's choice in wearing his club colours during vacation is just a small thing, but a positive for fans to takeaway regardless - we just can't say whether he was going for the whole kit, complete with shorts, socks and shinpads.
