Manchester United reportedly planning £30m Felipe Anderson move

Another talented Brazilian has been linked with Manchester United.

According to a report from the Sun, Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is planning a £30million bid for Lazio winger Felipe Anderson this summer.

The United boss reportedly sees the 22-year-old as the perfect player to add more fire-power to the squad, following a campaign in Italy where he scored 11 goals and set up an additional 10.

The Brazilian’s campaign really took off in December, after a slow start to the season. From then on he quickly scored five goals and provided five assists in just five matches, forcing clubs across Europe to sit up and take notice.

A knee injury and subsequent one-match suspension meant he had to play his way back into form, but the alleged United target then went on another run, scoring five goals in just six games and setting up two more in that time.

In short, Anderson is one to watch and if he can stay fit and on form for an entire season there is no telling how many goals he could end up with once he has more experience under his belt.

Predominantly a left winger, the youngster can also play on the opposite flank or as an attacking midfielder and he fits the mould of previous exciting United wide-men.
