The 20-year-old took to Twitter to announced his impending decision, with Port Vale rumoured to be one of the interested clubs.

The young defender had a disappointing loan spell at Rangers as part of Newcastle's famous five loanees sent to Glasgow. Though the expectation for each of the players was that they would get as much first team football as possible, it ended up that Streete would make just one appearance for the Gers, a cup defeat against Raith Rovers where he left the pitch early with an injury.
The 20-year-old left Newcastle this month after eight years at St James's Park, again having failed to feature for the first team.
Before his move to Rangers last season, Streete had been at Vale Park, and there is speculation from the Stoke Sentinel that it will be the Valiants that he rejoins on a permanent contract when he unveils his new side.
Vale finished in 18th position in League One in the recent campaign, and will be seeking to push on under Rob Page to a more secure position next year.
