Bolasie has dropped a hint he could be moving from Crystal Palace to Tottenham.
The exciting winger impressed towards the end of the 2014/15 season, coming into his own as a creative force and adding goals to his game under the leadership of Alan Pardew.
The links to Spurs come about from their need to add a new attacking threat to their game, and Bolasie’s talent is different from all the wingers the North London club currently possess.
Being just 26-years-old, the Congolese winger still has plenty of years to improve ahead of him, although Palace would rue losing a player who is central to their success.
The Mirror report claimed that Spurs were rivalling Liverpool for his signature, and Pardew values the winger at £20 million.
Following that original report, various other outlets have claimed the news, and after the Talking THFC Twitter account posted a reference to the interest, Bolasie favourited the tweet.
Whilst Bolasie may just be playing around, the favouriting of the link drops a hint that he is keen on securing a move to White Hart Lane. It would certainly be a step up for Bolasie, and would give him the chance to play in European competitions whilst also fighting for the top four, but it remains to be seen whether Spurs open formal negotiations for his signature.
