Everton are reportedly set to sign Gerard Deulofeu from Barcelona this summer.

Everton will sign Gerard Deulofeu from Barcelona for a transfer fee of £3 million this summer, according to The Daily Mail.

It has been reported by the British newspaper that the Toffees have beaten off “competition from other Premier League clubs” for the services of the 21-year-old winger.

Deulofeu played on loan for Everton from Barcelona during the 2013-14 season and is reportedly happy to return to Goodison Park for the 2015-16 campaign.

During that campaign, the Spain international scored three goals and created nine chances in 25 Premier League appearances.

The youngster had a pass accuracy of 78% and a shot accuracy of 78%, and won one header, 44 dribbles and six tackles.

Deulofeu played on loan for Sevilla in the recently concluded 2014-15 campaign, but he did not fare so well.

The Barcelona-owned winger scored one goal and created 14 chances in 17 La Liga appearances.

The youngster had a pass accuracy of 72% and a shot accuracy of 50%, and won one header, 28 dribbles and five tackles.

In five Europa League matches in 2014-15, Deulofeu created five chances, had a pass accuracy of 76% and a shot accuracy of 80%, and won one header, 11 dribbles and two tackles.
