Former Arsenal prospect Emmanuel-Thomas has signed a three-year contract with QPR and will cost no transfer fee.
That’s because the attacker’s current contract with Bristol City runs out at the end of the month, after which he will become a free agent.
The 24-year-old scored 33 goals in 103 appearances in all competitions for City after joining from Ipswich Town in 2013.
The former England Under-19 international was highly rated when he was rising through the ranks at Arsenal, but his career has not gone according to plan.
Emmanuel-Thomas will now hope to make the most of the chance he will get at QPR, who were relegated from the Premier League at the end of the recently concluded 2014-15 season.
Rangers will be aiming to get promoted from the Championship straightaway, and Emmanuel-Thomas will be a major part of that.
Following QPR’s signing of Emmanuel-Thomas, the fans took to Twitter to have their say.
