Derby and Wigan fans react on Twitter to Scott Carson transfer

Derby County Huddle

Scott Carson has joined Championship club Derby County from League One outfit Wigan Athletic.

Derby County and Wigan Athletic fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the transfer of Scott Carson.

Carson has joined Championship club Derby from Wigan for an undisclosed fee, as reported by BBC Sport.

The 29-year-old made 34 appearances in the Championship last season, keeping eight clean sheets in the process.

The former Leeds United man made 2.24 saves per game and 1.73 saves per goal on average.

Carson is an experienced goalkeeper who has played for the likes of Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion in his career.

Following Wigan’s relegation from the Championship to League One at the end of the 2014-15 season, it made sense for the former Bursaspor player to move to a Championship club.

After the transfer was announced, Derby and Wigan fans took to Twitter to have their say on the move.
