Scotland rescued a point at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday evening as they drew 1-1 with the Republic of Ireland in Dublin.
In a crucial European Championship qualifying match, Gordon Strachan's Tartan Army headed to the Emerald Isle in a hostile encounter.
Ireland took the lead when Jonathan Walters converted from close range, and despite being offside, the goal was given. After the break, Shaun Maloney's deflected shot beat Shay Given to hand Scotland a share of the spoils.
Celtic fans were obviously keen to tune in and saw club captain Scott Brown start the game alongside Bhoys team-mate Charlie Mulgrew, though many turned their attention to two possible transfer targets.
Reports from The Mirror and The Daily Mail have recently suggested that the Bhoys have an interest in Watford's Ikechi Anya and Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher. Both played against Ireland on Saturday, so what did Celtic fans make of the duo?
Fletcher struggled to get into the game and not only prompted Celtic fans to urge manager Ronny Deila not to sign the forward, but pose why he even starts for Scotland ahead of Celtic star Leigh Griffiths.
Conversely, winger Anya came on as a substitute and was bright, using his pace to trouble the Ireland defence in an impressive cameo - with calls for Celtic to snap him up quickly.
Here are some of the reactions from Twitter as Anya and Fletcher featured for Scotland against Ireland on Saturday evening...
I wouldn't have Flecther at Celtic. Take Anya no worries tho.— Chris McGowan (@mcgceltic) June 13, 2015
Disappointed with the result but all I'll say is Ikechi Anya would be a superbly signing for Celtic great wee player— Pol MacFhionnghaile (@mcginleybhoy) June 13, 2015
Expect today's performance will ramp up the Anya to Celtic chat. Still think GMS and Armstrong - even played out position - offer much more.— Craig Wilson (@CraigW4584) June 13, 2015
The difference Anya has made. Sign him up Ronny.— Chris McGowan (@mcgceltic) June 13, 2015

I would love to see Anya & Fletcher in the hoops next season— TyBeQ (@tybeqfootball) June 13, 2015
I really hope Celtic don't waste any money on Fletcher. He's not nearly as good as Griffiths.— Giovanni Ferri (@DJgioferri) June 13, 2015
Hope all these rumours of "Fletcher for Celtic" are way off. #IREvSCO— Stephen Duff (@ShaggyDug78) June 13, 2015
