According to a late night report on Sky Sports Italia, Inter Milan have bid €4 million plus a number of players for Sampdoria’s Brazilian-born forward Eder.
The 28-year-old has attracted plenty of interest this summer following a wonderful 2014/15 campaign which saw the 28-year-old contribute 13 Serie A goals.
As per a report in the Daily Star, Southampton, West Ham United and Crystal Palace have all been credited with holding an interest in Eder as they seek to bring him to the Premier League.
Still, Inter Milan have not been put off by Sampdoria’s alleged rejections so far as they stump up an intriguing offer themselves, cash plus a selection of unwanted fringe players.
“Inter is interested in Sampdoria striker Eder, they have offered Ferrero's club €4 million plus some players amongst Puskas, Andreolli, Nagatomo or Claudio Matias Kranevitter,” the report states.
Eder is predominantly an attacking midfielder but he is also capable of playing on the wing or even as an out-an-out striker, versatility which makes him a sound option for his suitors.
Palace and Southampton are eager to boost their attacking options this summer, especially the Saints as boss Ronald Koeman looks to establish his side as a top Premier League performer.
The South Coast outfit currently boast Italian international striker Graziano Pelle in their ranks, and a potential partnership with Eder is certainly one to excite the St Mary’s support.
