The Reggae Boyz take on the reigning champions this evening.
The Copa America continues this evening with Jamaica and Uruguay making their bows in the competition. After two fairly disappointing games so far, as Chile comfortably beat Ecuador and Mexico and Bolivia played out a mind-numbing draw hopefully the Reggae Boyz and the reigning Copa America champions can serve up something fairly more entertaining.
In terms of English interest there is plenty, especially on the Caribbean team.
Jamaica are competing in Copa America for the first time. Championship side Reading are best represented. The Berkshire club have Garath McCleary and Michael Hector present. Former Royal Jobi McAnuff, most recently of Leyton Orient, is also present.
Former Yeovil man Joel Grant is in the squad, along with recently released Leeds United midfielder Rodolph Austin - who is the nations captain.
Premier League players Wes Morgan and Adrian Mariappa of Leicester City and Crystal Palace respectively are also present, along with current Derby County star Simon Dawkins and their former wonderkid Giles Barnes.
Uruguay meanwhile have Liverpool's Sunderland loanee Sebastian Coates and Hull City's Abel Hernandez present. Star men such as Edinson Cavani and Diego Godin are also present but former Liverpool superstar Luis Suarez is not in the squad, as he is still suspended from international fixtures after he bit Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup.
So who is starting this evening?
Here are the confirmed line-ups...
Uruguay starting XI: Muslera; M Pereira, Gimenez, Godin, A Pereira; Sanchez, Arevalo Rios, Lodeiro, C Rodriguez; Cavani, Rolan.
