A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
The Daily Star has reported that Manchester United are readying a bid of around £50 million for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Kane was Tottenham’s top scorer last season and appears to have grabbed the interest of the Old Trafford side.
He signed a new Spurs contract last season but it will be interesting to see whether Tottenham resist a bid of that size.
The Daily Mail has reported that defender Vlad Chiriches is on the radar of Swiss club FC Basel.
Chiriches struggled to get much first team game time under Mauricio Pochettino last season and could jump at the chance to leave White Hart Lane this summer.
The paper claims Tottenham want a fee in the region of £7 million for the player.
The Guardian has reported that clubs interested in making a move for Younes Kaboul, could be put off by Tottenham’s reported £5 million asking price.
Kaboul, who was named captain under Mauricio Pochettino, seems surplus to requirements and could leave over the summer.
However, the paper states that chairman Daniel Levy wants to make back the fee the club paid for the player.
