The England under-21 international impressed on loan at Middlesbrough last season.
The future of Patrick Bamford is sure to be an interesting topic this summer. The striker won the Championship Player of the Season last term, after an excellent season with Middlesbrough. Of course, he is in fact owned by Chelsea.
He has been linked with several more loan moves recently, but it is now reported that West Brom could make a move to bring him in permanently - after he scored 19 goals in 44 appearances for Boro last term.
Chelsea currently have Diego Costa and Loic Remy up front, with Radamel Falcao expected to join them in the coming weeks.
That leaves first-team opportunities looking slim for the youngster at Stamford Bridge.
The report claims that Chelsea are willing to accept an offer of around £8 million for the player, which may be a touch steep for West Brom, considering the player currently has no Premier League experience.
West Brom could certainly do with some more goals in their team. Saido Berahino's future remains up in the air whilst Victor Anichebe and Brown Ideye have hardly been prolific in front of goal.
Could Bamford be the man for Tony Pulis?
