HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club that Norwich City are set to appoint former Burnley head of recruitment Lee Darnbrough into the same role at Carrow Road.
Adding to their ranks will be essential in the summer transfer window, and they have moved quickly to bring added expertise on board.
Darnbrough has been out of work since leaving Burnley in the wake of their relegation out of the top-flight at the end of May.
He was initially taken to Turf Moor by Eddie Howe, but took on more of a prominent role under Sean Dyche.
The Clarets are looking to restructure as they prepare to drop into the second tier, with changes inevitable on the field and behind the scenes.
Norwich, though, have moved quickly to snap up Darnbrough and will be hoping that he can work positively with manager Alex Neil and help to piece together a squad capable of holding its own among English football’s elite.
