Newcastle, Chelsea target Charlie Austin tweets and he's not happy; but why?

The Queens Park Rangers striker took to social media with a cryptic tweet.

Newcastle United and Chelsea target Charlie Austin has hit out on social media with a cryptic tweet - but it's unclear as to who he is aiming the criticism at.

The Shields Gazette, among plenty of others, have reported that the QPR forward is the subject of Newcastle and Chelsea interest.

Some outlets have even suggested that the QPR man is in talks with the Magpies.

But the 25-year-old's cryptic post suggests there could be nothing in the pipeline quite yet.

Indeed, Austin appears to have aimed a dig at the rumours and reports surrounding his future.

Austin starred for QPR in the Premier League last season and was recently called up to the England squad.

But his strong performances in a side that eventually got relegated have led to speculation linking him with clubs that remain in the top flight.

Newcastle, under new head coach Steve McClaren, are said to be looking for a new striker, while Chelsea have lost Didier Drogba and are also reportedly on the lookout for a new forward. Even if Austin is the man for them, though, the QPR star appears grounded for now.
