The Ukrainian is edging closer to a move to the Europa League champions.
Yevhen Konoplyanka is perhaps one of, if not the most coveted free agent in Europe this summer. The Ukrainian winger is leaving his beloved Dnipro on a free transfer this summer with plenty of club's in Europe keen on his signature.
In May however the Daily Mail reported that Spurs had decided against signing the player. Stoke on the other hand remain keen. The BBC reported earlier this week that The Potters were still in talks with the player and were hopeful of his signature.
However, competition is fierce for his signature.
The Ukrainian is also wanted in Germany and Italy, whilst Europa League champions Sevilla are slowly emerging as the favourites to snap him up.
His dad and agent Oleg has now spoken warmly of the La Liga side, seeming to suggest therefore that a move to Andalusia could be on the cards.
He told El Desmarque:
"There are many teams interested.
"It is normal, he had a great season.
"Sevilla? We know of the interest from the Andalusian club, they are a great team."
Stoke know that they have a real battle on their hands to get hold of Konoplyanka. Sevilla will play Champions League football next season thanks to their Europa League triumph and that lure alone will likely be enough to see him turn away from the Premier League option.
