Galatasaray reject claims that Manchester United made Muslera offer

Turkish giants Galatasaray reject claims that Manchester United have been making enquiries regarding their number one goalkeeper.

Galatasaray have denied suggestions that Manchester United have made an offer for goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.

Louis van Gaal is believed to be an admirer of the Uruguay international and is rumoured to have made an offer for the Galatasaray number one as he searching for a potential replacement for David de Gea, who looks set to join Real Madrid this summer, as per the Mirror.

However, the Turkish club's new president Dursun Ozbek has strongly refuted these reports.

“We have not received any offers for Muslera,” Dursun Ozbek told Fubol VIP, as per Goal.

Ozbek recently promised Galatasaray fans that the 28-year-old would remain at the Turk Telecom Arena next season.

"Muslera is loved by all Galatasaray fans," Ozbek told Hurriyet.

"We will not sell him to any club. Galatasaray is one of the world's biggest clubs."

Muslera joined Galatasaray in 2011 and has amassed 160 appearances for Hamza Hamzaoğlo's side. Since joining the Turkish side he has won the Super Lig three times and was named Goalkeeper of the Year in his debut season.

Manchester United are currently being linked with every goalkeeper in world football, so it's no surprise that a renowned professional like Muslera has got a mention.
