West Brom and West Ham face battle to sign Nordin Amrabat from Galatasaray

The Moroccan winger has impressed in La Liga this season, but any suitors will have to convince Galatasaray of a deal for the 28-year-old.

Galatasaray look to be holding on to the permanent contract of Nordin Amrabat, despite the likes of West Brom, West Ham and Malaga being linked in recent months by Talksport.

The rapid wideman has just spent the last 18 months on loan at Malaga, particularly impressing in this season's La Liga where he notched six goals and six assists in 31 matches.

Though Malaga finished 9th, it looks like the Morocco international is set to return to Istanbul, after quotes emerged from Galatasaray manager Hamza Hamzaoglu.

Turkish-Football.com report Hamzaoglu as confirming the 28-year-old will be returning to Gala next season.

"I do have plans for Amrabat next season," the 45-year-old is alleged to have said on Lig Tv, after signing a new three year contract at the Super Lig winners.

Talksport had reported interest in Amrabat from both the Baggies and the Hammers, but it looks like both had better look elsewhere, unless they are prepared to pay anywhere near the €8 million that Galatasaray are said to have paid for the former PSV man when they signed him from Kayserispor in 2012.
