The Brazilian-born Italian international has been in great form this season.
Italian international Eder is being linked with a move to the Premier League this summer. The Sampdoria striker has most recently been linked with a move to Crystal Palace, which according to Tutto Mercato Web he has rejected. He has also been linked with a move to West Ham by talkSPORT.
Now, the president of Sampdoria, has made it clear that Eder is going nowhere this summer.
Massimo Ferrero is quoted by Fanta Gazzetta as making it clear the reason why Eder will not be sold this summer. If he did let the Italian international go, his wife would kick him out of the house!
"Eder, I dare not sell him or else my wife will kick me out of the house."
His wife must be a Sampdoria fan then.
Palace and West Ham are right to be keen on the talented attacker. Eder has scored 10 goals in 32 appearances for Sampdoria this season.
The Brazilian-born 28-year-old has worked his way up through the leagues in Italian football, becoming a star at Sampdoria in recent times.
He made his first appearances for Italy this season, scoring against Bulgaria in March.
Regardless of Ferrero's stance Eder is believed to be apprehensive of a move to English football as it may be detrimental to his chances of making it into the Italian team for the European Championships next summer.
