Reported Newcastle United, Sunderland and Aston Villa target Micah Richards has taken to social media to confirm that he is leaving Manchester City.
Richards’ current contract with Premier League giants City runs out at the end of the month, and he is set to leave the Etihad Stadium.
On Thursday evening. the 26-year-old England international defender posted the following emotional message to the City fans on social media.

Richards has been on the books of City since 2001, but in recent years he has struggled with injuries and is no longer guaranteed playing time.
In fact, the right-back played on loan for Italian club Fiorentina during the recently concluded 2014-15 season.
According to a report in The Mirror on Thursday, Richards has decided to join Villa on a free transfer.
It has been reported by the British newspaper that the Englishman has snubbed a £90,000-a-week offer from Sunderland to sign for Villa.
Premier League rivals Newcastle are also interested in the services of Richards, according to The Northern Echo.
