Leeds United fans react on Twitter to double signings of Charlie Horton and Lee Erwin

Leeds United completed two transfer deals this week.

As reported by the official Leeds website, the Whites signed 20-year-old goalkeeper Charlie Horton and Scottish striker Lee Erwin this week.

Horton arrived from Cardiff City, expected to feature for the Under-21 set-up, whilst Erwin signed from Motherwell having netted six goals in 38 games last term.

Having deals agreed for both, excitement has started building at Elland Road, and it finally appears as if there is stability and forward thinking going on at the Yorkshire-based club.

Whilst both players are prospects rather than fully developed stars, with Erwin only 21, there is a real belief that the Scottish striker can start to impact the first-team this coming season.

Following the transfers, fans of Leeds United reacted on Twitter to the deals, and although Horton’s arrival went somewhat under the radar due to his limited exposure, there was a wealth of excitement following the arrival of Erwin - who looks set to have a bright future ahead of him.
