Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho banned from driving for six months

Jose Mourinho has been banned from driving for six months after he was caught speeding.

Get your bus parking gags ready, but try to be original. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been banned from driving for six months after he was caught speeding.

The Portuguese coach pleaded guilty to the offence but was not present at the hearing at Staines Magistrates' Court in Surrey on Wednesday.

Mourinho was ordered to pay a £750 fine as well as a £75 surcharge and £85 court costs as a result of the incident in September 2014.

The Daily Mirror reports that Mourinho was caught travelling at 60mph in a 50mph zone on the A3 Esher bypass in Surrey.

Mourinho was disqualified as he already had nine penalty points on his licence from previous offences.

So, no bus parking tactics for Chelsea when the upcoming Premier League campaign begins - not that the reigning champions started last season that way.

Many spectators were of the opinion that Chelsea became a boring side to watch as the season came to an end. What I would like to ask, however, is how can a team consisting of Eden Hazard, the PFA Player of the Year, be boring to watch?
