The former Newcastle midfielder sounds keen on a move to Crystal Palace.
The 29-year-old midfielder said: “It went very well with him. I enjoyed it and he does a great job. The most important thing is to find fun. If I have to make that decision, it will be a pleasure to see my old coach.”
These are certainly pleasing words for Palace fans to hear, with the talented midfielder linked with a move to Selhurst Park by London24.
The current PSG man was brought to Newcastle by Pardew in 2011, going on to make 93 appearances before leaving the club in January 2014. He has struggled to enjoy a similar kind of impact at PSG, although he has still totalled 53 appearances, except many of them coming as as substitute.
Cabaye is keen on playing more consistently at a competitive level to ensure that he is a selection for France at the 2016 European Championships, and securing a move away could be the only way to guarantee that football.
Palace looks like the most likely destination for Cabaye, and not only would the playmaker benefit, but the Eagles themselves would have secured the signing of a tremendously talented footballer, who would improve their squad incredibly.
Cabaye has world exceptionally well under Pardew before, and the French international could be the signing that sees Palace move from established Premier League side to Europa League challengers next season.
