Could Tottenham Hotspur be about to swap an unwanted striker for a much-needed winger?
The report claims Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is a huge fan of the Eagles winger and wants to land the 26-year-old this summer, with Bolasie said to favour a stay in London over a potential move to Merseyside.
That leaves Spurs in a good position to sign a winger who has just come off the back of a great season at Selhurst Park and is exactly the kind of player Tottenham need given his pace and creativity.
It is claimed Tottenham would be willing to offer Palace a pick of their unwanted players, with Adebayor allegedly at the top of that particular list.
Bolasie played 35 matches for Palace last season, scoring four goals and providing 11 assists. In comparison Adebayor appeared 17 times, scoring just twice, and it would be no surprise if his time at Tottenham was drawing to an end regardless of any willingness on his part to stay.
Pochettino needs to strengthen with additional wide players this summer and Bolasie’s experience of the Premier League would mark him out as a sensible option if he can replicate his best form.
