Tottenham Hotspur media round-up: Eriksen paints clear picture over his priorities

A round up of news stories this morning related to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Daily Express has quoted Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen as stating he feels at home with the North London club.

The paper suggests that Manchester United are one of the clubs interested in trying to sign him this summer.

However, the Dane has stressed that he has no real need to push for a move away from White Hart Lane.

“I feel right at home at Tottenham. I haven’t thought about leaving yet. I still have three years on my current deal so I'm not in a big rush to leave the club,” he said.

The Daily Mirror has reported that German forward Tino Werner is a key attacking transfer target for the club.

The paper claims that Mauricio Pochettino is keen for fresh, young talent to come into the squad to replace Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado.

The paper also suggests that Anthony Martial remains a target for the club, but Monaco are thought to want a fee close to £20 million.

The Daily Mail has reported that Jack Wilshere is expected to accept a charge of misconduct from the FA.

The England midfielder was charged following expletive chants he led about Tottenham after Arsenal had won the FA Cup.

He and the Gunners have both since apologised.
