The Australian youngster has not made the grade at Swansea.
Tottenham Hotspur have certainly gained a good reputation for bringing through young players this season.
The club have the likes of Nabil Bentaleb, Harry Kane and Ryan Mason as regulars in their first team at the moment.
Then there are the likes of Alex Pritchard, who shone on loan with Brentford last season.
But not all the Tottenham talents can make it. One who didn't was Australian youngster Giancarlo Galifuoco.
He was released by the club last August after failing to make the grade at Tottenham, following the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson and Tom Carroll in switching North London for South Wales. He joined Swansea City on a one-year deal.
Just a month ago he was celebrating with his team-mates after helping the Swansea under-21s pick up the Development League title.
However, despite this, he is not set to remain at Swansea next season.
He was included on the Swansea City released list earlier today, meaning he is likely to depart the club when his contract expires on the 30th June.
That will be a second summer release in a row for this talented midfielder, who will now have to find somewhere else to ply his trade.
