Report: PSG pull out of race for Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool-linked Petr Cech

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly given up in their pursuit of Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech as they believe he is off to Arsenal.

Petr Cech looks set to leave Chelsea this summer after spending 11 years at Stamford Bridge.

During his spell at the London oufit, Cech has won four Premier League titles, a Champions League, Europa League and four FA Cups.

Ever since Thibaut Courtois returned from his loan spell at Atletico Madrid, though, Cech has no longer been seen as the first-choice goalkeeper at Chelsea.

A goalkeeper of Cech's ability deserves to be showcasing his excellence regularly and not playing second fiddle to a 23-year-old. While understanding that the Chelsea veteran needs a move, you cannot blame Jose Mourinho in opting for Courtois, who could be the Blues’ number one for 10 years.

Mourinho is often criticised for not showing faith in youngsters. It was a totally different story when Courtois returned to Stamford Bridge last summer.

According to the print version of L'Equipe, and covered by talkSPORT, Paris Saint-German have pulled out of a move for Cech after they discovered he is heading to Arsenal.

The Czech Republic international has also been linked with a move to Manchester United and Liverpool, as per the Daily Star, but it's the former that may need his services more if David de Gea joins Real Madrid this summer.
