The 21-year-old was pictured with the Leeds icon after signing at Elland Road.
If there's one thing Leeds United needed after last season - well, there are a few but this is one of the first team's priorities... - it's goals.
And the United faithful will no doubt hope new signing Lee Erwin will bring them just that. At 21, the former Motherwell forward is the right age to be moulded into a prolific striker. Will he deliver at Elland Road?
After signing for Leeds on Wednesday afternoon, meanwhile, Erwin was pictured with club legend Peter Lorimer.
Lorimer, a former attacking midfielder for the Yorkshire side, was on hand to welcome the striker to his new home.
Following a busy day taking similar pictures and speaking to reporters, 21-year-old Erwin then took to social media to tweet his delight at joining the Whites:
Buzzing to have signed for @LUFC , Huge club and fanbase to be part of and cant wait to get started Thanks for the messages people— Lee Erwin (@LeeErwin19) June 10, 2015
Who else is next on Leeds United's list of summer signings? Their transfer business has been swift so far - but it will only make a long-term difference, of course, if stability is to follow at Elland Road.
For Erwin, though, an exciting time surely lies ahead in the Championship.
