A host of Premier League and Championship clubs are set to make an offer for Willem II ace Ali Messaoud, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the player.
The Dutch midfielder is out of contract in the summer, and he is currently free to talk to any interested parties ahead of a potential Bosman free transfer.
The 24-year-old came through the ranks at AZ Alkmaar before joining Eredivisie rivals Willem in 2013, where he has established himself as one of the most highly-rated midfielders in Holland.
With 15 goals in two seasons, Messaoud’s attacking talents have not gone unnoticed.
They are, however, likely to face competition from recently relegated Burnley and their soon to be second tier rivals Middlesbrough, Leeds United and Nottingham Forest – who will all be looking to mount promotion pushes in 2015/16.
