Jose Antonio Reyes offered multi-million Saudi Arabian move

Sevilla Football Club

Europa League winner Jose Antonio Reyes is out of contract with Sevilla at the end of June.

The future of Jose Antonio Reyes remains a doubt at Sevilla, despite having enjoyed a good season with the Andaluz club, which culminated in a second consecutive Europa League triumph.

According to Spanish sports daily AS, the 31-year old has received a very tempting offer from Saudi Arabian champions, Al-Nassr, who have offered the former Arsenal and Real Madrid star a lucrative two-year deal.

If Reyes chooses to accept the offer from Al-Nassr, he can expect to earn €4.5 million per season, after tax, if the former Spain international opts to leave the Sanchez-Pizjuan this summer.

Reyes has remained an important part of the Sevilla side this season, making a total of 37 appearances in all competitions, whilst also contributing five goals and six assists. Ratings compiled by whoscored.com also place him as the third-best performer in their squad, during the 2014-15 campaign.

Few would blame Reyes if he chooses to accept the offer from Al-Nassr, who are reportedly very confident he'll join, as they plan to incorporate a host of stellar international names to their squad.

However, what isn't quite clear at this stage, is whether Sevilla plan to offer Reyes a new deal, although they certainly wouldn't consider matching the salary offered by the Saudi club.
