Report: Roma enquire about Romelu Lukaku

AS Roma have reportedly enquired about Everton striker Romelu Lukaku to Italian agent Mino Raiola.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, AS Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has enquired about the Everton striker's availability this summer.

Lukaku's agent, Raiola, allegedly met Roma officials recently to discuss a potential deal for Paris Saint-Germain full-back Gregory van der Wiel, another one of his many clients, also as per Gezzetta dello Sport.

The former Chelsea forward joined Everton last summer and has scored 20 goals in all competitions this season.

After making such a huge investment in Lukaku last summer, Everton are highly unlikely to let the striker leave before the new season starts, or for less than what they paid.

However, Raiola is an agent renowned for getting his clients big deals and has previously tipped Lukaku to achieve great things in his career in the belief that he belongs on a grander stage at one of the top European clubs, according to the Daily Mail.

Funnily enough, Lukaku had that opportunity at Chelsea but failed to cut it at that level, albeit at a young age, But, if Raoila can get multiple big moves for the likes of Mario Balotelli, who has an incredibly questionable attitude, who says he cannot do the same with his Belgian client?
