Since it became clear he wouldn't be staying with Dutch club PSV Eindhoven, there hasn't been any shortage of interest in 19-year-old Zakaria Bakkali.
The teenage sensation has been regularly linked with Stoke City and Celtic, over recent months, but rather than a move to the British isles, the hugely talented teenager has his mind set on heading south instead, to the Iberian peninsula.
According to Estadio Deportivo, the decision has now been reached by Bakkali, that he will sign for Europa League champions Sevilla over the coming days, who stepped up the intensity of their negotiations, in order to lock down a deal.
In the same city, newspaper ABC Sevilla had already highlighted that negotiations between the Andaluz club and the Belgian sensation, were close to reaching a definitive resolution, mindful that La Liga rivals Valencia were also showing a strong interest.
Following the sale of Aleix Vidal to Barcelona earlier this week, Sevilla are also taken a firm step forward, towards the signing of another highly coveted free-agent.
Ukraine star Yevhen Konoplyanka is likewise expected to complete a move to the Sanchez-Pizjan this summer, after rejecting an offer to renew with the side Sevilla beat in the Europa League final, Dnipro.
Sporting director Monchi and manager Unai Emery, are both keen to see Sevilla make further progress in La Liga, aiming to improve on the fifth position finish achieved during the 2014-15 season, whilst also mindful of the challenges they'll face, competing in the Champions League during the 2015-16 capmaign.
