The Danish youngster is not set to join countryman Christian Eriksen at White Hart Lane.
The 19-year-old spent half of last season on loan at Bundesliga surprise package FC Augsburg, helping the Bavarians to a best ever fifth place finish in the German top flight.
It seems his form at the SGL Arena caught the attention of Spurs. It has also caught the eye of his parent club and it now looks like the 19-year-old is set for more regular football at Bayern next season.
Bayern sporting director Matthias Sammer has told the club's official website, as reported by Soccerway that Hojbjerg is a factor for Bayern's 2015-16 campaign:
"Pierre has continued to mature in the six months away from us.
"We're grateful to FC Augsburg for allowing him to take this step."
Tottenham fans will of course be disappointed. They would have been excited at the notion of joining Hojbjerg up with fellow Danish talent Christian Eriksen at White Hart Lane but it would now seem he is all set to stay at the Allianz Arena.
