West Ham United are set to make their second signing of the summer this week.
we expect a major player signing this week, I'll update you as soon as its done— Jack Sullivan (@jsullivanwhu) June 8, 2015
Premier League outfit West Ham have been busy in the transfer market so far and have already made their first signing of the summer.
Goalkeeper Darren Randolph will officially move to the London outfit on a free transfer next month when his current contract with Championship club Birmingham City runs out.
Last month, West Ham co-chairman David Gold reiterated on Twitter that there will be at least five new players in the squad next season.
If you recall I said there will be at least 5 new faces that is still the case. dg https://t.co/qsZ45X8XTG— David Gold (@davidgold) May 30, 2015
These are promising times for the Hammers, who are aiming to make themselves regulars in Europe in the coming years.
Sullivan’s revelation that the second signing of the summer will be that of a “major player” has increased expectations among the West Ham fans, many of whom replied to his tweet.
