Tevez had a terrific season for Juventus leading the Bianconeri to an Italian double and the final of the Champions League where they lost 3-1 against Barcelona. He scored 29 goals in 45 appearances (all competitions) this season but has just one-year remaining on his contract.
Juventus have also recently secured the signing of Paulo Dybala, who cost the Turin side £24million.
Premier League outlet Liverpool are also rumoured, as per Express, to be interested in their search for a goalscorer. Despite the signing of Danny Ings from Burnley, the Merseyside club need more than one striker with a convincing scoring record after last season's dismal outing for all forwards at the club.
There are similarities between Luis Suarez and Tevez too, so it would not be a bit surprising to see Brendan Rodgers show interest in bringing the latter to Anfield.
However, Tevez has long made it known that he hopes to end his career at first love Boca, and club president Daniel Angelici says that it is down to the striker to decide his future.
“The return of Tevez from Juventus depends entirely on his own will,” said Angelici, speaking to media on Monday, as per the Mirror.
“The doors of the club are open. It would be a dream, but we’ll have to see if it’s one that can be realised.
“It depends more on the player than the club. We will call Carlos to check and start talking.”
