Christian Eriksen confirms he has no thoughts of leaving Tottenham Hotspur

Eriksen has no desire to leave Tottenham Hotspur yet.

Speaking to Borsen.dk, Christian Eriksen has outlined his desire to stay with Spurs, being comfortable with the current progression of his career.

He said: “I feel really comfortable in Tottenham and have not thought of having to leave yet. I still have three years left on my contract. So it's not something that I must hasten to think about.”

This is great news for the Spurs fans, with 23-year-old Eriksen a vital part of Tottenham’s first-team set-up. Alongside Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris, he is one of the vital players in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad, and any future success they enjoy will likely be down to him.

Despite his impressive performances, he is rarely linked with a move to a bigger club, although he is still not at the level whereby he would be a natural choice for a team with title ambitions.

He still has three years left on his contract at White Hart Lane, and many will be hoping he continues to progress in his development in the promising manner he has been.

Despite still not being a top level player, Eriksen is a key figure for Spurs, and he has put paid to any doubts concerning his future. He has no desire to leave the club, and whilst he is improving at the centre of Tottenham’s squad, the only way the club can move is up.
