The Sweden international is rumoured to be keen to leave French champions PSG and with him having just a year left on his contract, they would naturally be keen to cash in on their star asset sooner rather than later.
That could spark interest from Premier League champions Chelsea, who are keen to add another forward to their squad after Diego Costa struggled with a hamstring injury at the end of last season while back-up Loic Remy failed to impress and veteran Didier Drogba is leaving.
The Blues were linked with a move for the forward by the same source back in May, and this potentially low cost for such a proven star may attract them further, although they are still being linked with a move for Radamel Falcao by the likes of the Daily Mail.
The cost should also be of interest to fellow Premier League side Arsenal, who are rumoured to be looking for a top class centre forward as they push for a potential title challenge next year, and Ibrahimovic would certainly fit the bill.
The mercurial Swede scored 29 goals in 30 games for PSG last season and would certainly command a place ahead of the likes of Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck, although his high wages remain an issue for any potential suitors.
