Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany shows his admiration for this season’s Champions League winners Barcelona.

Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Barcelona’s Champions League triumph on Saturday evening.

Spanish giants Barcelona defeated Italian champions Juventus 3-1 in the final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

Croatia international midfielder Ivan Rakitic put the Blaugrana in the lead in the fourth minute, but former Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata restored parity for Juve 10 minutes into the second half.

However, Barcelona stepped up their game and went 2-1 up through former Liverpool forward Luis Suarez in the 68th minute.

Then in the final minutes of the encounter, Brazil international forward Neymar scored Barcelona’s third goal to wrap up a 3-1 victory.

Belgium international centre-back Kompany was watching the game, and he was impressed with the performance of Luis Enrique’s side.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, Barcelona had 62% of the possession, took 17 shots of which eight were on target and earned six corners.

Meanwhile, Juventus had just 38% of the possession, took 14 shots of which six were on target and earned eight corners.
