The Hammers could be in the final throes of naming Sam Allardyce's replacement.
Jack is the son of West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan, and has often slipped out a little exciting information before a major announcement.
But this latest piece seems like a fairly bold claim, and indicates an announcement is imminent.
Cheeky update -we expect to announce our new manager within 48 hrs or less, keep visiting official WHU web site, where it will be announced.— Jack Sullivan (@jsullivanwhu) June 8, 2015
His words on Sam Allardyce's replacement come after reports last week that the Hammers had narrowed their new boss down to four men: Frank de Boer, Unai Emery, Slaven Bilic and Marcelo Bielsa.
Of those names, Emery has decided to stay at Europa League winners Sevilla, meaning that quite possibly, the new manager could be either the Ajax man, ex West Ham defender or former Argentina manager now at Marseille.
Recently departed Besiktas manager Bilic has been particularly closely linked by sources such as the London Evening Standard.
If Sullivan is right, all will be revealed in the next couple of days.
