Charlie Austin sends message to Liverpool-bound Danny Ings on Twitter

Reported Newcastle United, Southampton, West Ham United and Aston Villa target Charlie Austin is pleased to see Danny Ings join Liverpool.

Queens Park Rangers forward Charlie Austin has taken to social networking site Twitter to congratulate Danny Ings on his move to Liverpool.

England Under-21 international Ings will join the Reds on a free transfer next month when his current contract with Burnley runs out, as announced on the Merseyside outfit’s official website.

Ings was in superb form in the recently concluded 2014-15 Premier League season and was arguably the best player for Burnley.

In 35 league matches for the Clarets, the youngster scored 11 goals and created 35 chances.

The 22-year-old had a pass accuracy of 71% and a shot accuracy of 43%, and he won 25 headers, 57 dribbles and 27 tackles.

Austin is delighted with Ings’s move to Liverpool and posted the following message for him on Twitter:

Both Burnley and QPR got relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2014-15 season, and Austin himself has been linked with a move away from Loftus Road this summer.

According to The Mirror, Newcastle United, Southampton, West Ham United and Aston Villa are all interested the Englishman, who will reportedly cost at least £15 million.
