A player linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur is making more headlines in France.
The report claimed the 30-year-old Argentina international had agreed to move to White Hart Lane on a four-year contract but that the two clubs were yet to agree a fee and that the deal was far from done.
So three weeks on, are Tottenham any closer to getting their man? Well, perhaps they are if the latest story from Le10 Sport is true.
They claim PSG have still had no offers over €20million for Lavezzi and that the French side will either have to remain patient heading into the summer, or agree to a smaller fee in order to get the player off their books.
The report claims PSG are keen to sell the alleged Tottenham target, with manager Laurent Blanc allegedly not a big fan of the winger. So there is likely to come a time when they either accept he is staying for the final year of his contract or accept less money than perhaps they would like.
There is no doubt Lavezzi is a star-name and he would excite Tottenham fans, but chairman Daniel Levy will not want to pay more than he has to considering the wages likely to be on offer if the move goes through.
Lavezzi scored nine goals and provided nine assists this season, while he has a total of 32 goals and 23 assists in his PSG career to date.
