The former Hammers went head-to-head in the Champions League final last night.
Barcelona defeated Juventus 3-1 in the UEFA Champions League final last night, with goals from Ivan Rakitic, Luis Suarez and Neymar doing the damage, despite a second half equaliser from former Real Madrid man Alvaro Morata.
One set of English fans particularly keen on the game were West Ham United supporters.
His tremendous form toward the end of the 2006-07 season saw The Hammers survive on the final day of the season, as he scored the winning goal against Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford.
So it is fair to say that Tevez is something of a cult hero at West Ham.
Of course Tevez was not the only former West Ham player who was in action in the fixture. Javier Mascherano was tasked with stopping him for Barcelona, but his time in London is not remembered as fondly. Alan Pardew never truly knew how to use Mascherano and in the end he went on to become a hit at Liverpool and now Barcelona.
However he came out on top in the game, despite being the less fondly remembered at Upton Park.
Here is some of the best reaction to the pair's performance from West Ham fans on Twitter.
