Tottenham could reportedly bid for Benteke, interest in Bolasie allegedly remains strong

Aston Villa’s Christian Benteke and Crystal Palace’s Yannick Bolasie are reportedly being targeted by Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.

Christian Benteke bid

Tottenham Hotspur could make a bid of £20 million for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke, according to The Sun.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Spurs are keen on securing the services of the Belgium international and will start the bidding process.

Premier League rivals Liverpool and Chelsea are also alleged to be interested in Benteke, who reportedly has a buy-out clause of £32.5m.

According to The Sun, North London outfit Tottenham wanted to sign the 24-year-old former Genk star in 2013 as well.

Yannick Bolasie interest

Tottenham are also maintaining their interest in Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie, according to The Daily Star.

The Daily Mail claimed last week that Mauricio Pochettino’s side are not interested in the 26-year-old, but it has now been reported that they are.

In fact, Spurs are “leading the chase” for the former Bristol City star, according to a report in The Daily Star.

Liverpool are also reported to be in the market for Bolasie, who is rated at £30 million.

Tottenham’s interest in the Democratic Republic of Congo international winger is claimed to be “very strong”.
