Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on the signing of Anthony Martial of Monaco, report France Football.
The French publication claim on their website that a fee has been agreed at almost €25 million.
The report states: "AS Monaco and Tottenham would have agreed to the transfer of Anthony Martial for nearly 25 million. The 19-year-old, trained at the OL (Lyon), has a profile that pleases the Spurs coach, Mauricio Pochettino."
Martial moving to Spurs would be a real coup for the club, with the striker regarded as one of the top prospects in his country.
He signed for Monaco only a year ago and signed a contract until 2018. He scored 12 first team goals last season and is a French under-21 international.
He also provided an assist in the Champions League at The Emirates as Monaco beat Arsenal 3-1 earlier this year.
Martial began his career with French non-league side Les Ulis, where Thierry Henry also started out, and there have been numerous comparisons with him since. He also shares ties to the island of Guadeloupe just like Henry.
Spurs are in need of strikers to complement Harry Kane, who has become a full England international after a magnificent breakthrough season, and Martial is exactly the calibre of forward the club should be looking to attract, with outstanding potential.
Neither Tottenham or Monaco have yet made an announcement to verify or deny the claims.
