West Ham United are looking for a new manager following the departure of Sam Allardyce at the end of the recently concluded 2014-15 season.
It has been reported by the British newspaper that the Argentine has yet to agree on a new contract offered by the French club.
Ligue 1 outfit Marseille want Bielsa to remain as their coach and have offered him an improved deal.
However, according to The Mirror, the 59-year-old “wants to find out if he is back in the frame before committing himself to Marseille”.
Slaven Bilic is claimed to be the favourite for the West Ham job, but Bielsa is still interested in taking charge of the Premier League outfit for the 2015-16 season.
The Hammers are currently looking for a new manager following the departure of Sam Allardyce.
Former Newcastle United boss Allardyce’s contract with the Hammers ran out at the end of the recently concluded 2014-15 season, and he was not handed a new deal.
